He is board certified by the American Board of
Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Monroe’s practice includes sports
medicine, trauma, foot and ankle, and general Orthopaedics. Originally
from the Northwest, Dr. Monroe and his wife, Maribel Monroe, MD
(an OB/GYN) have settled in Las Vegas. Dr. Monroe enjoys traveling,
skiing, windsurfing, and basketball.

Dr.
Monroe received his Doctorate of Medicine Degree at the University
of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington. Following
medical school he completed his Surgical Internship and his Orthopaedic
Surgical residency at Wayne State University School of Medicine
in Detroit, Michigan. He then completed a Foot and Ankle Fellowship
both at Wayne State University School of Medicine and at the University
of Alabama School of Medicine.
